Is PixiTools free to use?
Yes. All tools on PixiTools are currently free to use. We support the project with display advertising so we can keep the tools online.
Do you upload my files to your servers?
No. The core operations (like compressing PDFs, converting images, and generating QR codes) run directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your files do not leave your device for these tools.
Why do I see ads on the site?
Ads help cover hosting costs and allow us to keep PixiTools free for everyone. We try to keep ad placements reasonable so they don't interfere with the tools themselves.
Can I use PixiTools for sensitive documents?
Because most processing is done locally in your browser, we never receive a copy of your documents. However, you should always follow your own security policies and local laws when handling sensitive data.
